2022-2023 WWBBA Winter INTRAMURAL LeagueWWBBA provides a valuable program for your son this winter across multiple Central Bucks school gyms. Intramural seasons include the following age groups; 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th / 7th grade, 8th / 9th grade and our senior league (boys in grades 10, 11 and 12). Practices typically start in December with games starting in early January. The season typically concludes by mid-March.

Pricing Information for Intramural Only:
Prices per grade (grade as of fall 2022) as follows: Grade 2: $170 Grade 3: $170 Grade 4: $170 Grade 5: $170 Grades 6 & 7: $180 Grades 8 & 9: $190 Grades 10-12: $190 Discounts are available for families registering three or more intramural players. Pay half price for third, fourth, etc. registration per family. Please be sure to register all participants at the same time so the discount will automatically apply. |
General Information:

- Grade is as of fall 2022.
- Please note that there will be two options for each group: volunteer and non-volunteer. The non-volunteer option will have a $50 charge.
- Play-together requests cannot be considered for players over 3rd grade. (Play-together requests for players in 2nd and 3rd grades will be considered but are NOT guaranteed.)
- Please help us spread the word about registration - tell your friends and neighbors so everyone who wants to get signed-up can do so by the deadline. Forward this email to anyone who might be interested.
- In an effort to reduce additional unnecessary work for our volunteers, ensure that all teams are as competitive as possible, and to cover the online registration vendor's fee paid for each registration processed, the following refund policy is in place: Every refund made through October 31st will be net of a $25 fee. No refund requests made after October 31st will be granted.
- Leagues are grade pure for grades 2-5 (Meaning there are separate leagues for each specific grade.) Older boys are grouped by grade in either 6th/7th, 8th/9th, or Senior League(10th-12th)
- Grade is determined as of fall 2022. Playing up is not allowed.
- Play together requests cannot be considered for players over 3rd grade as teams are formed by draft. For 2nd and 3rd grade, play together requests will be considered but are not guaranteed.
- Practices and games are held in Central Bucks school gyms and local community facilities
- The Senior League offers a full season with games starting in late early December and ending in March.
- The other groups begin in December and end in March and typically have one practice during the week in the evening (days and times based on gym availability) and one game on the weekend.
- You can expect a coach to contact you shortly before practices begin.

Basket Height:
2nd Grade plays on 8.5’ baskets.
3rd Grade starts play on 8.5’ baskets which are moved up to 10’ by the end of the season.
Players in 4th Grade and over play on 10’ baskets.
Referees:
2nd Grade games use the coaches to referee.
3rd Grade games use the coaches to referee at the beginning of the season with junior referees starting part way through the season.
4th through 9th Grade games typically have junior referees for the full season but PIAA referees will usually be used in the 8th/9th grade group for playoffs and may be used in all groups subject to availability of junior referees or other factors.
Senior league games have PIAA referees for the full season.
